Muskoka Quartz Heater
The Muskoka Quartz Heater has a new concept design that includes a heater in a small decorative table. There are no exposed heating elements to harm children or pets. The table stays cool to the touch allowing for full use of the table top. The Muskoka heater heats a room faster than conventional heaters and also heats the air without reducing the humidity. Practical and beautiful works like a charm!
Pros: remote allows temperature and time control, items on the top of the unit do not get hot, looks great even in a main living area
Cons: does not heat the room quickly takes a while
"I bought this for my bedroom, but it looks so elegant I put it in my living room with the TV on top and the VCR on the shelf underneath. It works with a remote and you can set the temperature and the time for it to run (in case you forget to turn it off) it automatically shuts off when the set temperature is reached. It does not overheat the tv or the vcr and warms up the whole room evenly. I am extremely happy with this unit and would recommend it to anyone needing to heat up a medium to small room."

So far so good
Pros: heats like a champ, quiet, looks great and blends into style of room
Cons: need to switch to celcius each time its turned on
"We've had this now for a couple of days and use it in our basement which is about 700 square feet. So far, its working great....we were really surprised for such a small heater that it was able to generate enough heat to warm the basement. We can notice the difference as soon as we open the basement door and the heat seems to be evenly distributed throughout the basement. It also looks like an ordinary piece of furniture so its well hidden and very quiet."
