Very disappointed
Pros: 12v and ac capable, easily portable, ample capacity, included ac adapter
Cons: didn't cool properly
"Perhaps we got a lemon. We read the reviews and thought the cooler looked like a great product.
We used two separate thermometers to double check, but temperature never got colder than approx 10 degC lower than ambient. Average temp was around 13 degC. inside even with pre-cooled food. We were careful to make sure there was proper air flow inside and out; used it indoors and while traveling (cooler was between cab seats with lots of air circulation room) in air conditioned environments.
Unfortunately, we lost almost all of the food we put into the cooler to spoilage.
Also, the 12v adapter got VERY hot when cooler was plugged into the wall.
Didn't want to have to return this item as we had hoped to have it for a long time, but had no choice. Thanks to Costco for their no-hassle return policy."

"I would recommend this purchase to anyone traveling by car. You don't need to have soggy food or look for ice while you travel."

Great for Camp
Pros: works very fast
"This Koolatron Kooler will work out very well. It cools very fast. Our daughter will use it in the dorms at basketball camp for extra snacks and drinks. Otherwise, I keep it in the garage, plugged in for my refreshments."
