Excellent value for the money
Pros: portable easy setup, aviod boat launch, no operating cost, very low cost for the fun it provides, very stable untippable, made in canada
Cons: can't use in rough water
"Having owned a Frog boat for 5 years I can tell you this boat is fantastic! It has provided us with countless hours of enjoyment on many lakes in SK and into AB and BC, some of which do not allow gas motors! My young childrem just love motoring (30lb electric) or rowing around in it fishing, seeing wildlife, etc. My brother and I have even rowed down the Bow river in early September catching rainbow and brown trout. The Frog boat is untippable and is extremmely stable. I am an avid fisherman and have caught lots of fish (trout, walleye, perch, etc) over the years. We avoid busy boat launches and 2 people can easy lift it on top of an SUV. Of course it is not a $25,000 boat so you need to use good judgement and use it on calmer days on lakes. I store it in garage on a pully system that raises it 9 ft above garage floor. We would buy another Frog boat in a heart beat if or when it ever needed replacing."
