How the SquareTrade Service Works

Costco's SquareTrade pricing is exclusive to Costco Members. You must purchase a SquareTrade Service Plan from a Costco Warehouse or from www.costco.ca. Service Plan must be bought within 60 days of purchasing the TV.
This service is currently only available for purchase, for members who reside in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. Service is not intended for Resale or commercial use.
*Excludes limited life consumables such as batteries and lamps.
Free in-home service for TVs 37" or larger
Free Express shipping for TVs Under 37"

Great Peace of Mind
"When I bought my new TV at Costco it came with a 2 year warranty but I was also able to purchase a further 3 year warranty at a reasonable price! My warranty will now protect my TV for 5 full years! I have never heard of such a deal! When making such a large purchase I was impressed that I could get such great peace of mind."

An excellent purchase
Pros: slim edge minimizes appearance of tv.
Cons: none for me.
"Installed it on the wall in my rec room. No outside light gets in so room lights provide illumination. Easy to set up. added Apple TV to it. Excellent picture. Did what I expected, better than I expected. Price/performance is excellent."

Great Value
"My last TV also bought at Costco stopped working 28 days after the warranty ran out which was double the manufactures warranty by Costco. It was going to cost me $150 for someone to even look at it and even over the phone they were quoting me a $400 to $500 repair. For piece of mind and home service, this is the best deal out there. At least I know my TV will be covered 5 years now and like all of Costco.ca they are exceptional to deal with and the service is outstanding always."

Pros: affordable simple 5 yrs (incl. costco 2 yrs)
Cons: none yet will be tested when needed.
"I was surprise how simple and straight forward this warranty purchase was, the long duration and 24hrs communication. Compared to the other big retail stores 3rd party insurance co., i think this is the best, and most affordable for tv's."
