Stealth Cam® Rogue 8 MP Video Recorder
Rogue IR 8 MP has a solid track record; it captures colour images during daytime and black and white at night! With 36 infrared emitters, you can have great looking still images or video clips. The Rogue IR accepts SD memory cards up to 16 GB and has a 32 MB built-in memory. The burst mode captures between 1 and 9 images per triggering. The time, date and moon phase are stamped on every image to identify movement of the deer.

good camera so far
Pros: supper clear pictures
Cons: big and bulky
"this camera has been in operation for 2 weeks now and i have to say that it has been a great tool to see whats moving around your propery for wild game. i have pictures of deer that i never knew were there! it is a good price point as well as many cameras at this MP are 250+. so far its been great i will see how it is in the long run now."

Good value for the money
Pros: relatively straightfoward menus
Cons: takes six "c" batteries, slow to enter program mode, not the longest battery life using "c" cells
"I shopped around for these "cams" to monitor wildlife activity on sections of our acreage. Given the Costco return policy I went ahead and ordered two units that arrived within 72 hours. As others have mentioned these are a bit larger than some newer (current) models, however they do provide good quality video or photos once you learn to put up with the peculiarities of its programming and operation. It's obvious this is a first, maybe second generation unit as it has a slow processor. Switching from off to "test" mode for programming can take up to 5 seconds before you hear the two confirmation beeps. That said I've taken some great video with these so far. Im sure there are other units that run faster out there, however they won't match the value for money that these offer."

happy camper
Pros: good quality sharp pictures., has external 12volt jack very good feature for me, has internal memmory as well as sd card capability
Cons: quite large cumbersom to handle, one piece strap makes it dificult to attach to obj, i find the programming difficult
"Very pleased with Cosco, shipped Good product in short order. The Stealth Cam STC-1840IR Series I purchased works very well so far, takes good quality pictures. I have not had the chance to try it in the field yet as were still snowed in. The camera was a very good buy, probbably due to it being a discontinued Stealth Item. I purchased 3 Swann cameras from Cosco at the same time,and find them (although a bit more money) to be a better choice due to there very small size, easier to conceal and program."

Good Purchase
Pros: easy to program, good on batteries, good video
Cons: hard to remove sd card, more difficult than some to open, no problem solver section in instructions
"Both my friend and I purchased these cameras and are very happy with them.They have been in the field for 3 weeks taking over 150 -30 sec videos and batteries still show full.Videos at night are very clear and as good as a more expensive camera my friend has.Although it doesn't have a viewer a second card makes it easy to view on computer.It also shows the number of pictures on the outside so you don't have to open it up to check.The sd card is a little difficult to remove if you have large fingers or if they are cold.The 2 clasps to open or close are also difficult to put your fingers under to open but with patience can be done.Haven't taken pictures yet but as said before great videos with great sound."
