Needs a proper owners manual
Pros: it floats, it's much cheaper at costco
Cons: manual does not explain how to use it
"Being new to a GPS unit I found the Garmin Owners manual of no help whatsover. Whatever happened to a detailed description of what the item is designed to do and how to operate it so one can use it? The owners manual does not help-it provides how to set up functions but does not educate the user about the functionality of the unit as a whole. What a sad state of affairs.
Even the Garmin website is wholly inadequate about their products. They simply assume that everyone is conversant about GPS equipment. I found out more on You-Tube videos produced by owners of these units than I could from Garmin."
