Well made….

Pros: best value and great customer service
Cons: storage bag too small and storage straps too short
"I was surprised on the thickness of the fabric, the heavy duty zippers and the tie down straps that are quick and easy to hook up because they use loops and buckles so you can anchor it to anything heavy parked upwind. I haven't needed to use the ice anchors yet but they look like the heavy duty type. Also, the air vents are big enough to be effective……most pop ups have vents that are too small. Windows are replaceable should they crack. ONLY 2 negatives, the straps you get for storing it into a bag are too short when the tent is full of frozen condensation and like all other pop ups, the bag is too small for easy packing after use in the cold. Propane heat adds moisture to the air which adds to the storage problems after use."

Missing Part + Bad Customer Service

Pros: good fabric feels durable, weight seems reasonable for the price.
Cons: missing parts- no anchors +no tie-down rope, equinox: bad customer service.
"Ahh... I wrote a very long review before you can see this, but the website says:
"Your review text contains inappropriate language."
So I'll summarize.
1. It doesn't have anchors + no tie-down ropes
2. Bad customer service
3. Disappointed, why not just give me the missing part.
4. Return it- Re-Order it, hope the second one is good to use.
5. will write another review when the second one arrive.

Interior

Pros: easy to set up and big
Cons: cheap material
"Bought this shelter as a christmas gift for my fiance.
We used it twice and returned it.
The black material inside the tent cracked just about everywhere. VERY cheap interior material.I dont recommend taking the tent out in -30c weather due the material being way too stiff. Its too bad because its such a good price for such a roomy tent.

Huge Ice Shelter

Pros: portable easy to set up, lots of space inside, brightvisible color
Cons: a little on the heavy side for carrying, tie staps are too short
"I recently purchased the FishInn 4-6 person ice shelter from Costco.ca. I was very surprise and delighted how much space is in this when it is set up. The color is bright orange so that it is visible even in snowy conditions. It even has reflector tape for visibility at night. I am very happy with this product. The only thing that I think they can improve it would be to supply longer tie straps-the 3 straps fit when arrived, but after we first set it up, they do not fit around the poles/material. If I can make a suggestion,it would be best to make them at least 12" longer."

Your friends will never want to leave!

Pros: durable, affordable
Cons: interior black paint job could of been better, short shoulder straps.
"Ordered the item on Monday. Was at our door by Thursday. Saturday morning, went fishing at Spray Lakes Reservoir. Took us one minute to set it up. Turns out, four other groups had Fish Inn shelters as well. Spotted them from a mile away! All of them withstood 80kms/hr wind-gusts all day long. Anchored well, these will not move.
Few tips of advice: Anchors will go in easier if you pre-drill the ice with a 1/4" wood bit using a cordless drill.
Shelter (50lbs), manual auger,2 folding chairs, tackle and shovel can easily towed effortlessly with a 66" X 22" X 6" plastic sled. Drill 1/2" holes around sled. Slip 1/2" poly breaded rope through the holes as if you were lacing up a pair of skates. Use a 16' length of 1/2" poly breaded rope to pull the sled and you're on your way.

Good bang for the buck

Pros: lots of space for 6 2 doors lots of windows.
Cons: straps for bundling are not long enough, no instructions
"I've used an ice fishing tent for 10 years. The tent seems well made and all the extra's were there. Amazed at the space inside. The ice stakes could use a coarser thread to make it easier to screw into the ice. The straps used to bundle the tent together in shipping are way to short to be put back on after the unit has been used. No instructions will make it hard for some to set up and take down. I see myself enjoying this for many years to come."

Great value

Pros: equal quality but substantially lower priced, setup
Cons: instructions would be nice
"Bought for boggan behind sled - light weight, easy to set up, does not take up a lot of space. Workmanship looks good so far. Worked great on the lake to shelter from the wind. Actually got hot in -10 C weather when there was no wind and it was sunny"

can't wait to get on ice

Pros: sets up easy good quality
Cons: packing straps should be longer
"Set it up for first time on back deck today. Took about 1-2 mins, actually quite big inside. Packed it back up in 2 mins. Straps seemed too short to get all three around folded up tent, but one is enough. I've done alot of camping in tents and was surprised how easily this one fit back in bag. Seems to be good quality material, fairly heavy duty. Definately can't wait to get this unit on Cold Lake this week."

2-3 Man Fish Inn

Pros: carry this hands free, lots of room inside
Cons: no instructions
"Love the fact that the carrying bag has straps like a backpack. Good quality and very pleased with the purchase. Went up in less than 1 minute and was back in the bag in less than 2. Handy pockets and window covers, allow you to get light when you need it. Had people watching me take it down and they were wowing at how easy it was. Only knock is - no instructions- you need to watch how it looks out of the bag so you can put it away the same way. Wasn't that hard after all, but I was worried 1st time out."

"Ordered tent on Sunday ,had it on Thrusday
Opened it in Basementi in 3 mins as i have opened that style before Did not seem like 600 daner. Black inside was not coming off like I have seen or heard of.No extra spare windows in bag . Same size as other 4 man pop-ups. Has 2 lower windows and 2 upper vent windows and 2 doors.
Will try it out at Cold Lake March 10.

Great Hut

"Sets up and take down in minutes.
Purchased the 6 person hut, tons of room, while still being fairly light.
Great price compared to other similar models."

great tent

Cons: no instructions on easiest set up/take down.
"took it out minus15 c. Set up for the first time in 2 minutes and was superb protection from wind and cold. Could see fish perfectly with the black out walls. Very impressive construction. Heavy zippers, vents, extra window plastics in case one cracks. Look forward to using again this weekend."

Great product for a great price!

"Got the 2-3 man ice hut today. Set up; easy. Parts; all present. Looks; excellent. Hut has some nice added features: vents are are well placed and easy to use, nice windows that can be opened to let light in or even fully opened to let air in, has some spare window panels (nice touch). Exterior and interior finish is good to excellent. However, it appears that the hut was folded too soon after the black lining was applied and some of it came off when opening it up; hence the 4-star rating. This is not a serious problem and does not affect the performance of the hut. Will see if I can get a can of spray of the same material and do some touch ups. Will re-post after using a few times to let you know how it performs out on the ice."
