Excellent
Pros: value, flavour, packaging
"Excellent taste, value, delivery packaging. I saw some ground bison meat about the size of one of these burger patties at the grocery store sold for $9 !! Take them camping and everyone that smells them cooking is jealous. We reused the styrofoam cooler and frozen gel packs to keep them cold."

They were delicious

"They arrive very well packaged, they are 4oz which that's very reasonable amount of pattie. When I cooked them they were really delicious.

disappointing

"our burgers arrived today, -Plus the 4 per vacuum pack is a great idea. Negative- one of the packs vacuum was gone. the meat was soft around the edge, when opened the outer portion was dry looking...freezer burn, the colour a far cry from the photo...these burgers look like the standard prefab burgers in a box at any supermarket not the rich colour portrayed in the above photo, since the vacuum seal was broken we cooked the burgers up tonight, they were not tender, rather bland in flavour...lesson learned will get our bison from our butcher..even his frozen better looking than the batch we got from Northforks. Dissappointed!"

Delicious and Healthy!
Pros: healthy, tasty, handy packaging
"I ordered this and it came in a few days. It was well packed and still frozen when it got here. Bison meat is healthier than beef so I really appreciate being able to buy it at Costco because it is hard to find at most grocery stores. So far we have only had it as burgers but we want to try it in Spaghetti Sauce one of these days. It does not have a gamey taste at all. Really tasty and healthy too! What more could you want?"

Tasty, but not low fat
Pros: delicious
Cons: not lean, not nice and red as pictured
"We are on a diet that requires us to eat bison instead of beef. These patties are tasty enough, but are decidedly NOT low in fat. I would say they are equivalent to the fat content of regular hamburger (maybe 20% fat). Therefore, I am not sure these would be good for a diet. I'm sure the meat is healthier, but these burgers are not leaner.
That being said, they were delish, and I can't say enough about the packaging. They arrived in the most awesome container, frozen solid! You have no worries about them spoiling on the way to your house."

"We are fond of bison meat. This presentation of 4oz patties is convenient and follows all diet regimens. Excellent bison taste. No greasy taste as with beef patties. It is low in fat. We even don't mind having two patties for a meal.
