Works well

"Works well for the basics.
You turn the unit on by turning up the interval at which balls shot at you. It would be nice to have a separate on/off button so you could leave your settings in tact between rounds.
Also when you turn up one setting, like top spin, it takes power away from your other settings, like oscillation speed. So its hard to get everything the way you want it because adjusting the power/speed setting on one aspect affects all the others.
Would also be nice if you could put stops on how far each way it oscillated.

Great deal

"Used it for several months now. It's just a great little exercise machine at an incredible price. No maintenance needed and takes very little space. No more excuse for not getting enough exercise!"

First one will need to be returned

Pros: cheap, fast balls, good frequency
Cons: lots of ball jammed (might be my perticular robot), hard shell (should be covered) get balls bouncing
"I get many balls jammed under the base plate (which stops the robot from working). Contacted Joola by email showing my plate and they said it should not be loose enough to let a ball get under the plate. They told me to return the product for a refund and order a new one. Also, it is important that you know that the 100 balls that comes with the robot are very very cheap. Many broke on their first hit and some were not even usable once (their shape was not round). Last thing is the backspin.. know that at top level, the balls will simply fly out. Joola told me the motor was stronger then before and that I had to dial down the control (which worked for me).
Aside from this, I still like it enough to reorder one. The balls are fairly fast. However, don't expect lots of spin . This robot is great to workout if you are ready to move a lot (for example, you could hit all your balls with your forehand. while oscialation is at the top.. you will sweat a lot.."
