Superwinch’s® 1,363.6 kg (3,000 lb.) self-recovery ATV winch has a sealed 1.2 HP permanent magnet motor for fast and reliable speed. It offers a 3-stage planetary gear system with a 136:1 gear ratio, sealed solenoid and protected circuit breaker to deliver reliability in all situations. The winch comes complete with a 3.7 m (12-ft.) handheld remote and a handlebar switch. The 4-way heavy-duty roller fairlead helps reduce excessive wear on the wire cable, making this winch ideal for all kinds of applications.

Happy so far
Pros: quality and value for the money
Cons: plastic bushings in farlead. should be nylon
"Purchased this winch to replace OEM on my 2007 sportsman. Bolted right on to original holes and mounting plate with no additional drilling. Wiring instructions very clear and easy to follow. Currently only used this winch for plowing and works fine. If I had to find a fault I would say the farlead that came with the winch was poor quality and the plastic bushing broke after only a couple uses. Lucky I kept the OEM and bolted it back on."

Good value for your money
"Just purchased this winch to replace a faulty Warn winch on my ATV. New one installed easily and works great. Haven't had a chance to really work the winch yet. Use it mostly to operate the snow blade on the ATV.. Great service and price from Costco.ca"

Cons: untested. i hope for 3+ good years!
"I had to replace my Warn 2.5CI winch with this one. The warn, as good as some people say they are, it had problems going down(out). I primarily use the winch for plowing in winter and for miscellaneous things in summer.
I just installed this unit this weekend and I suggest that you order the proper mounting plate for your specific bike as I did. The hardware that comes with the mounting plate did not inspire confidence, so I drilled out the mounting plate and used tested and true "U-bolts".
I like the extension that comes with the winch and the handlebar switch looks just as good as the Warn one.
I will have to write a more detailed review later, when I have had more use from the unit!"

Best price and great unit
Pros: price, quality
"Half the price of Warn and just as good. Used it during October for a hunt and pulled out my quad no problems. No issues at all. Would highly recommend to everyone!!!"
