Great buy
Pros: no white noise or static, ability to talk to baby through monitor, nightlight can be turned on/off by remote, efficent warranty service, clock display
Cons: music does not sound very nice, temperature display is always off by 5 degrees
"I love this baby monitor. The only problem I had was the rechargeable battery that came with the parent unit was defective (did not hold a charge for more than an hour). I contacted Levana via email and they quickly shipped me out a new one. Other than the battery I have not had any other issues with this unit & would recommend it because the sound is quite clear."

Good when plugged in
Pros: clear sound, good range, good price at costco with included shipping
Cons: bateries don't last in the baby unit, no replacement batteries for the parent unit
"I recomend this monitor if it will stay plugged in inside your house. We bought this model to use when travelling in our RV because both units could run on batteries. Batteries used in the baby unit run down so fast that using them is not practical. We have just used it plugged into the wall and it has worked very well. Very clear sound and good range without the constant static we've had on previous monitors. We've had it about a year now. The battery in the parent unit won't hold a charge anymore so it isn't really cordless and we haven't been able to find a replacement."

OK, but not thrilled
Pros: well priced, great operating distance, only transmits when baby cries, no static, built-in flashlight on parent unit, night light on child unit
Cons: parent unit resets every couple of days!, temp readout 3 degrees higher than actual
"So far we're not impressed. Yes, everything listed in our PROS is absolutely true, but the CONS kills the whole enjoyment of using this product.
We have to constantly set the clock and all other settings as they randomly reset to factory defaults. Also, the temperature probe in the baby's room is off by 3 degrees. 1 degree would be acceptable, I suppose, but 3 is way off, especially since you can set alarms for when the room gets too hot or too cold. Seems like a simple issue to fix with basic calibration, but no such feature is available.
Anyway, we'll give it another try with a replacement unit once it arrives. Until then, we cannot recommend this product."

Best purchase ever for a monitor!!!
Pros: crystal clear sound, easy to setup, great features
Cons: a little too sensitive
"We've purchased several monitors over the years for our babies. Each and every one of them ended up being returned to the store. They ALL had that background noise that is so annoying. This monitor had so many features for its price and most importantly it was crystal clear sound. What can I say except another great product from Costco."

Good product
"This monitor works well and does not relay sound from the white noise machine, which is a definite plus. The white noise does trip the lights on the parent unit, even though no sound is transmitted. This turns the LED lights into strobe lights in our bedroom (the lights are really bright in a dark bedroom). I put three layers of green painter's tape over the lights and they are still visible, although much dimmer. Despite bright LED lights this is a good product and I would buy it again."

Happy with this purchase
Pros: sound isn't always relayed, small portable size, great distance, charging dock
Cons: volume doesn't go very loud
"This monitor works really well, I like the talk to baby function. And I LOVE that the monitor only puts through sound from the babies room when the baby is talking/crying. This is great for us as we use white noise in babies room and if the monitor is always relaying sound there is a constant humming coming from their room. it has great distance and I love that there is a dock for charging!
The one thing I would improve on this monitor is the highest volume is quite quiet so it would not be good for heavy sleepers.
Everthing else is great, I'd read one review saying the lights are really bright, but they only turn on (on the parent unit) if the baby is making noise.. otherwise the monitor has absolutely no lights."

Works well, no static
"Seems to work well, have been woken up a couple times by beeping (I think it loses the signal and then finds it again as the beeping is the same as when you turn the parent unit on). The VOX is nice - you don't get any sound unless the baby is actually making noise, so there's no static or background hum. I also really like the recharging base - makes it easy to charge and leave on in my bedroom at night."
