Not so sure
"The wireless range is falsely advertised, on the box it is only 100 feet with some limitations. I had problems finding a location that gave me a signal to the box, I actually wished there was a wire connection, would have worked better for me.
Other than that, I think it will do the job, which is make anyone more careful what they do once they know there is a camera around, that's why I bought one."

Good, but has some shortcomings
Pros: good night vision
Cons: bad timer options, bad motion activated recording times
"This camera is good, has good quality but has several flaws which hold it back from being great.
1) The schedule timer section only allows you to set 1 block of time to record footage. This really needs to be expanded to allow you to set at least 3 if not 5 different time periods
2) the motion activated recoding limits you to 30 seconds from the time it detects motion. Ummm this is pointless. I want to record ALL the motion not just the first 30 seconds and this really is the reason i am going to be returning the product because that is what i needed to work well, and it does not. IT also was not as sensitive as i needed to be to detect the slow moving raccoons so i switched to recording a block of time instead. This of course takes more time to review footage etc... especially since it breaks the recording into 10 minute segments so fast forwarding through means you have to go into LOTS of files to review it all. It should give you the option the specify the file size you want to break the footage into as I would set it to something more like 500MB not the 50-70MB that 10 minutes uses up.
If you dont need or care about the above issues, then this is a great camera. Night vision is amazing too."

excellent camera coverage.
Easy to set up
Rmote control works well.
Motion sensor senative is good.
Play back videos are excellent.
Outdoor camera is being purchased so that there will be coverage outside as well as indoors.

"I received the camera in four days after placing order.
This camera performs exactly as advertised. Video and sound are great.
The security of the camera installation itself is a concern. - Improved mounting bracket required. - One has to loosen only one screw to steal the camera."

Perfect for my needs
Pros: clear camera great motion detector easy to use.
Cons: can't view over the internet.
"If you are looking for a single camera and you don't need to hook it up to the internet, then this camera is perfect. The night vision is just as clear as day. I love that I can just pop out the SD card and put it in my computer for a quick review of the day. It separates each day into its own folder automatically, and the each clip has the time beside it and the file size - which tells me how much action was captured by the motion detector. You can change many settings to suit your needs. It even has sound and volume control on the remote. I am very happy with it."

amazing night vision
Pros: easy to set up and use.
Cons: unable to buy additional cameras at costco
"I bought this to keep track of things happening around my back door and yard. It does a very good job of recording all activity. I was skeptical about the night vision capabilities so I set it up a test inside my house and turned off all lights. It was so dark I had to feel my way around the corner to come into view of the camera which was 30 feet away. The motion sensor immediately began to record a video which looked like it was taken in daylight. I was truly impressed.
As far as the previous reviewer's negative comments about battery operation, it would be pretty simple to attach a 9 volt battery pack to the camera if you want to make it totally wireless."

careful what you read
"When reading the description for this product I was under the impression it was wireless it requires a 9 volt battery not the camera it requires a plug in on a surge protector. So if it becomes unplugged it is useless. Might be good for against the house or business."
