Awesome Tuna!!!!!!

Pros: good colour nice texture great fresh taste
Cons: pricey
"Probably the best tuna I have had here in Edmonton. We go for sushi often and have tried many different locations for sashimi. None have servived this quality of tuna that Costco provides.
The tuna comes in about 5 vacumm packed loins of tuna and it are fairly easy to cut off chunks of frozen tuna as you require. The purple chunks of tuna are to die for in colour, freshness, texture and taste.
The tuna arrived within 3 days or so right at our door. Quick service.
Definitely will order this tuna delight again in the near future. May seem pricey but worth it for the quality.

Not good at all

"Not good at all. It smells fishy when I ate it raw. When it's cooked, it tasted no different from the $15 per Kg fish. Costco was nice enough to refund me the whole amount when I returned it in store. I highly recommend costco's great customer service, but not this fish. Not worth the price to me."

Lives up to the hype!

"I must admit I was a little skeptical, yet tempted after reading the other reviews. I went ahead and ordered. Ordered on a Thursday, order came in Tuesday morning. Very fast considering the weekend was in between.
The quantity you get is quite substantial.
First time I made it, I didn't know what to expect. I defrosted a little faster in cold water. You can actually take the loin and cut it while frozen if you don't plan on eating the whole thing.
It takes a little creativity to slice the steaks properly as the loins are a little narrow, but it works.
After dipping it in a soy-sauce-sesame-oil-japanese miring and so on marinade, I seared it on a hot pan for 30 seconds on each side. Quite rare in the middle and here's the good part... ABSOLUTELY amazing.
Beats any seared tuna I've had in any restaurant anywhere.
I was skeptical but now I'm sold! Don't spread the word too fast!"

WOW!!

Pros: these thaw very quickly, arrived within 2 days of ordering, very healthy and low in calories
Cons: a little pricey
"These were so delicious they would even taste good out of the garbage can. That's how good they are! Very fresh and they are just as good rare as they are cooked through. I grilled them on the bbq after I basted them with teriyaki sauce. So simple to achieve the WOW factor."

Surprise!!

"First time we bought this online from Costco, and we grill the tuna just the way it show on the picture and it's just mouth watering. We even try it raw - Sashimi style and it just melt in your mouth, our friends just can't get enough of it. Highly recommended!"
