best 4 price

"I needed help carying in the house. I love the one touch speed and incline feature. speakers are too weak at 5mph + machine drowns out iphone at full volume. Heart rate monitor very sensitive. I ordered the Ifit module and hope to get a better range of workouts compared to the ones already pre loaded. This is a solid machine and the money manufacturing it was obviously spent with the motor and frame. Which is what i'd prefer rather than bells and whistles."

So far So good

Pros: price
"I recently bought this and have been using it for a few weeks now, every day. It's a sold machine that comes off like something you'd see at the gym. For the money, it is well worth the purchase. I shopped around quite a bit, both for new and used treadmills before purchasing this one. My 2 must haves were, a 3.0 CHP motor and a longer tread. This machine had both. It works well, with the exception of the hand held heart rate monitor. I don't think they were accurate, but I will keep trying..you never know! Otherwise, it's a solid and high functioning machine at a very reasonable price, so I would recommend it."

GREAT PRODUCT

"PURCHASED THIS TREADMILL FOR MY WHOLE FAMILY IN OUR HOME GYM TO UPDATE OLDER WORN OUT TREADMILL, GREAT FOR ALL MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY FROM TEENS TO SENIORS, EASY TO OPERATE, LIKE THE MP3 PLAYER CAPABILITIES, LIKE THE VARIABLE BELT FIRMNESS VERY HELPFUL FOR THOSE WITH KNEE PROBLEMS - HELPS WITH THE EXTRA CUSHIONING.
ONLY DOWN FALL IS THE POSITION OF THE ON/OFF SWITCH WOULD BE BETTER IN A MORE VISABLE LOCATION.

Great Treadmill

Pros: easy to assemble
Cons: ifit module not included
"I just purchase this a week ago from my local warehouse (it was 100 cheaper there) and I am very very happy with this treadmill... I replaced an older model and honestly why I waited so long is beyond me... It has a great console with easy controls. the incline is smooth as is the speed control when it is going up or down in speed.
I also purchased the optional Ifit module for it but it has not arrived yet."

Impressed so far!

Pros: price, costco's excellent service
Cons: 1 yr. parts warranty
"I returned a different model treadmill that I purchased online and bought this one instead from the warehouse. Costco's customer service was excellent - they accepted my returned treadmill without blinking an eye, and were incredibly helpful when it came to loading this into my vehicle. I would just like to mention that the Costco warehouse price was a bit lower, but buying online with delivery to your door is really nice! The box this treadmill comes in is huge - I believe it weighed 310 lbs and was about 7 ft long x 15" x 38" - you pretty much need a truck to haul it and 2 strong people to handle the weight. I've read reviews elsewhere where some people advised against unpacking this treadmill and carrying it piece by piece, but that was the only way we could fit it in the back of our vehicle and we would have never got that box down our stairs to the basement! Make sure you hold onto a certain notched thick piece of cardboard included in the packing - it is used during assembly as a stand - we had to improvise without it. Assembly is a 2 person event that took us about 20 minutes after watching the online assembly video listed in the manual. Straight forward assembly. Couldn't wait to try it - went for a first run and I am really impressed with how solid it feels, how responsive the speed and incline features are and how quietly it operates. The display is more sophisticated than most treadmills in this price range. The speakers are underwhelming, but a nice break from headphones - I tried two different MP3 players and got the same sound quality and found that I had the volume maxed. The only negative thing I've noticed is the latching system for folding the treadmill doesn't seem all that strong, but it does have a dampner on it so it wouldn't just fall down. We don't plan on folding the treadmill because:1) it's heavy to lift, 2) it doesn't really create more space. The bad things I've heard about this treadmill are mostly all related to the manufacturer ICON ... their customer service has lacked in the past, but I can't personally comment on that yet. I would have liked to get a longer parts warranty - so far ICON is only offering extended warranty packages to US customers.
A few things I've learned from really researching this treadmill:
- it should be unplugged after each use
- a proper surge protector should be used
- at slower speeds you might hear the belt seam as it passes underneath
- a mat should be used under it
- if you purchase iFit cartridges they should never be stored near the magnetic safety key to avoid data loss
The iFit Live module is available from at least one other online Canadian retailer.
If you shop around you will likely find that this is a great deal for a 3 HP treadmill with 20 x 60 running surface and all the bells & whistles.
I will post an update if my opinion changes ..."
