Induction Cooking

Pros: energy efficient and quick to heat up, keep cooking area cool, ease of clean up
Cons: noise from fan, must use proper cookware
"Bought this unit as a tryout on how induction cooking will work for me and the family. Very impress on the performance of this unit. Use it 90% of the time now when cooking instead of the radiant/halogen range that I currently have. Had 2 of this and it is all I need for everyday cooking. Other than the noise from the internal fan, I do not have any complain since buying them more than 9 months ago.
Had something boil over the other day and it was a breeze to clean things up. The surface was only warm to the touch and no food/liquid burning as a result of the spill.
Highly recommend to those who like to try out induction cooking before getting the full range which I will be getting in acouple of days."

Not Bad

"This unit works great, the pan is good for a water bowl for the dog, All my old high end pots work better than advertised. This unit will do it's purpose.
I would definitely recommend the Eurodib line over the Salton Model.
Comparison liter pot with 1/2 liter of water to a full rolling boil:
Salton model time 4min 30 seconds
Eurodib model time 95 to 100 seconds

Great addition

"Great additional cooking unit for large dinner party. Experimented and it boiled 2 C. water in half the time of my gas stove top. Did not find fan noise that loud or bothersome. It IS great if you want to preview induction cooking before you renovate. Good capacity in pan."

Good purchase

Pros: fast efficient easy to usem easy to clean, cool to use
Cons: noise from fan
"This is the first time I've tried induction cooking and have not tried any other make, so can't make a comparison.
So far I'm very impressed with the ease of use, and outcome. Very easy to clean also.
Would highly recommend this reasonably priced appliance.
It sits well on my glass cook top and am using it as a replacement for the one
plate that is no longer working efficiently.
An excellent and good value replacement.
The cookpot is an added bonus and can be used for a variety applications. Everything from the baked rice dish in the instruction booklet - make sure that you stir the rice often by the way, boiling vegetables and
cooking pasta.
The size for a family of 4 is quite adequate and find it hard to understand
why another person's opinion refers to this pan as a "dog bowl" - must have a large dog!
Soup/liquids come to a boil quickly, pressure cooker cooking a breeze. Frying - excellent. Cleaning same.
Only annoyance is the continual sound of the fan. Unplug as soon as you've switched off to discontinue the fan noise while the appliance cools off.
Thus far have only had to use the addition of a fry pan and the pressure cooker which is stainless steel, so have not had to invest in additional cookware."
