BIOS Diagnostics™ Forehead Thermometer
The BIOS Diagnostics™ forehead thermometer is the fastest and easiest way to measure temperature. Simply place the sensor just slightly above the skin (approximately 1 mm) at the temple and scan. The thermometer measures accurately and safely in 3 seconds.
The forehead is an excellent place to measure temperature because the temporal artery runs across the forehead and is directly connected to the heart via the carotid artery. Blood flow directly from the heart is an excellent reference for core body temperature.
The unique Colour Glow technology makes fever detection simple. The screen glows red when a fever is detected, followed by an audio alarm of 10 beep sounds. The screen glows green when there is no sign of a fever.

Bought it and returned it
Pros: quick
Cons: "accurate" results
"I purchased two of these thermometers (one was going to be a gift) based on the reviews that it was easy to use and gave accurate results. It is fairly easy to use and quick, but I'm hesitate to say it gives accurate results. I tried this out on my two and a half year old and it said that she had a fever. So I also used our ear thermometer and armpit thermometer and they both registered a degree lower (no fever). Not sure I'm sold on this, so I returned both even though I really wanted to keep it because it was quick and easy to use."

Best Thermometer available in the market
"I bought this Thermometer after trying several manual and digital Thermometers, this thermometer is really best, simple to use, and gives accurate results. I is really very quick, in few seconds it will beep and give you the accurate temperature. I don’t have to wake up my 5 years old son to get the temperature, within few second it is done.
I will highly recommend this Thermometer over other’s available in market."

Accurate and Easy to use

"It is weird but I caught a flu 2 days after receiving this product. Tested it, very easy to use, compared the reading with and under arm thermometer. Same reading. I like the stroge box that come with it. Great product from Costco."

Awesome for little ones!
"Its a great product, I am in the health care field and I strongly believe that this type of thermometer is the best way to get an accurate "non invasive" temperature. I like that it blinks red if there's a temp and green if its good, it definetly helps so you don't have to remember what normal range is! Because its non invasive I can get a temp on my child when he's sleeping and he doesn't even realize it."

Easy & Accurate - Not for Babies

"I ordered this thermometer from the Baby Days ad specifically for my 7 month old. I was very pleased with the prospect of an easy to use thermometer. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to open it up & read that it is NOT to be used on Children UNDER AGE 2. It does work really well for older children & fortunately I have older kids to use it on, otherwise, it would be going back. It seems to be pretty accurate & is easy to use once you get the hang of it!! The red & green make it very easy to read. Overall an excellent thermometer, just not if you have babies or toddlers."

Perfect for the price
Pros: cheap!, easy to use, colour coded temperatures, remembers the past few temperatures
Cons: slightly inaccurate
"This thermometer has worked great since we've gotten it. It's not the most accurate thermometer in the world, as it clearly states on it a variation of .2 degrees, but for the price it's perfect for at least being able to tell if your child has a fever. Nice and easy to use as well! I love the colour changing feature, green good, red bad!"
