Pieces keep falling off!!
"I also had problems with the vent cover breaking off. It seems the plastic parts are not enough for the vent that keeps opening and closing. Also, the handle broke off, again showing poor quality parts. Very disappointed with this microwave as it is only 7 months old."

best micro exhaust out of three I've had
Pros: all the features
Cons: stainless steel needs special cleaning
"professionally installed this micro exhaust works like a charm, I've never before had problems with this type of unit but this one has the nicest features yet, the three speed with turbo exhausting being one thing I particularly like."

Looks great
"The product was shipped in no time and it was pretty easy to install. It looks great but only problem is it quit working in 3 days. So will be taking it back and ordering another unit and hope that the next one works longer."

"I also had the same problem with the fan cover breaking. We returned it to Costco without any problems and when installing the new one, it also had problems. When we turned it on it began to spark inside. We have now returned the second one and will be installing the third. the only reason we are installing it again is because the holes have been drilled for it in my kitchen. If I knew this before, I would have skipped the installed microwave option. I worry that in 6 months we will have another issue."

Flaw in Exhaust Fan Vent
Cons: poor engineering on full front vent door
"After less than one year, a critical part on this microwave is broken.
There's a strange kind of outflow vent over the door, that should not be required if you are venting to the outside. The vent is covered by the horizontal steel strip you see at the top of the front, over the door. Whenever the microwave is operated, this vent is opened by a mechanism, and as a result this vent opens and closes many times a day. This was poorly designed, as springs that make the vent close after use are anchored only in plastic, and after less than a year, both of these anchor points have broken out from the mechanical action of the vent door opening and closing. Now the vent cover is hanging open and cannot be closed. It looks unsightly, and would never pass a home inspection if you were selling. Very disappointed as these built-in microwaves are very troublesome to uninstall and replace. I wish Costco had a different (better) model of stainless steel over-the-stove microwave to replace this with."

"Very cool product. I am especially impressed with the fan/venting. Although the TURBO fan will work only while the microwave oven is not operating, it moves a lot of air (400 cu ft/min) and not especially noisy.
When the Microwave or fan is running, the hidden vent along the top automatically pivots opens, and closes when done.
All the features I have used appear to work as expected.
Installation went smooth, but you DO need a second person to help lift it onto the mounting bracket.
One feature I did not test, but was impressed with is the auto-fan that kicks in if the stove below gets too hot, and continues to run until the problem is resolved."
