Cons: no outside pocket, large case is really large
"I bought this luggage set for a month-long trip to Asia and it didn't let me down! It is lightweight, very easy to navigate through streets and airports with due to the inline, turning wheels, and is highly durable.
The only thing I miss with the hard case is an outside pocket, but I knew that going in and quickly adapted to not having one.
I love it!"

Review 2 for McBrine 3-pc. Hard-sided Luggage Set
Date:November 3, 2010
Pros: looks nice
Cons: heavy, hard shell can crack
"This luggage is quite heavy and doesn't appear to be durable. It came damaged to my home from UPS, being protected by a box and some styrofoam. It had a 5 inch crack in the shell which leads me to believe it won't withstand airline baggage abuse. I purchased the polycarbonate instead and it is noticably lighter (at least 5 pounds for 3 pieces) which counts a lot with the current airline baggage weight restrictions."
"I’ve bought several Hey’s pieces in the past and have been generally underwhelmed by the value I received from each purchase. I didn’t expect much given the relatively low cost of this set of hardside luggage; I could buy only 1 piece of Hey’s spinner luggage for this price. However, I was pleasantly surprised at both the durability and design. I took it all 3 pieces on a recent trip which involved a great deal of moving around and this luggage really held up. The wheels move freely and the surface was able to hold up to rough handling. The value for cost is tremendous and I would highly recommend this purchase."
"Well made and stood up to the airline baggage and our cruise line's rough housing. A few minor scratches. My daughters Heys hard shell did not handle it well. Cruise line cracked it. I would recommend this product, the interior quality and finish is great. None of my items inside my bags where at all damaged, including two bottles of vodka that stayed put. The value is awesome, I purchased just two Heys carrys on for this price."
