Good Value

Pros: good value for price
Cons: assembly instructions and shipping
"Overall satisfied with purchase. While it is not commercial quality, it is much better quality than most home equipment. It has a fair range of exercises, given its price. It is a good value for price and I am satisfied with the purchase. Yes, you have to buy weight separate but I knew that prior to making the purchase.
Don't like the backrest on the bench, particularly when using in the decline position.
Spraying pulleys and rear bar and smith rods with silicone lubricant makes machine work smoother.
Shipping took six weeks to receive all three boxes, two boxes arrived week 5 and the third (large one) received week six. One of the pieces was plied through shipping, however, I was able to straighten.
Took a full Saturday to assemble on my own."

Great value for the price, but.....

Pros: excellent value beats everything else, very sturdy and safe, can workout every muscle group you want to
Cons: assembly is very slow they should # the pieces, not adjustable at all, not a fully functional system (missing plates)
"I've had this equipment for 2 weeks now and overall its great and I would recommend it. Its very sturdy, it allows you to workout just about every muscle you want, and is quite easy to use.
A few things to note though. Its a very big piece of equipment and remember you'll need room on at least both sides (back would be good too) to move the weights around. Also note that it does not come with weight plates and that adds quite a bit to the end price of a functional unit. Also note that it is not adjustable in any way, so you'd better have a "normal" or big body size. ex: my wife has trouble using parts of it.
My biggest concern with it is the assembly. It arrives in 3 boxes, two of which are pretty light and another which is over 200 lbs, so you need help moving it around. I recommend you assemble the bench first so as to reduce the number of pieces you have to look through. Why is that important, well the problem is although the manual has detailed instructions on which pieces to put together, NONE of the pieces are numbered. ex: the manual will say, place piece 44 with piece 55, but there are absolutely no numbers on the pieces themselves, so you have to look at the diagrams and figure out which one looks the closest to that, and its not always obvious. The pulley system at the back needs a little oil, but aside from that everything is good.
Once assembled though its a great piece of equipment and I'm very happy with my purchase."

A good machine - lacking in only a few areas

"Just completed the somewhat lengthy setup. Some parts still loose, and the arm curl mechanism isn't quite lifting straight. Though the base price is low, one must take into consideration the cost of adding ALL weights needed - nothing is included. The clips they include are not great, and I had to replace them with carabiners - otherwise changing anything takes forever. With a bench of this size, I would have expected wheels attached to help make moving it easier for different routines. Lastly, I would have liked the lat pull down to have an attachment come down from the center of the unit to minimize bench movement during the pulldown. Squat bar gets in the way during some routines. I also think the arm curl should be made to detach - this makes leg exercises a challenge as is. A fairly complete unit nonetheless."

Excellent product for the $$$

"I have been using this equipment for about a month, and am very satisfied with my purchase. The range of exercises that you can do with this unit, plus the quality of the equipment, make it an excellent value. You do need to lubricate the rear weight holder post with WD-40 (a few times) to make it work properly. After that, it works well. Also, I installed a small screw in each of the bench caps/feet to prevent them from coming off when the bench is moved around. Finally, the install will take some time to complete, but is worth the effort. Hope you enjoy it."

Excellent Piece of Equipment

"Had this product for about 2 months now and am able to work out every part of my muscle. The bearings on the bars are very very smooth. Originally i was comtemplating whether to get this or not for app 2 to 3 months. Finally decided to go ahead and buy it. It is worth every penny. DO IT UP!"

Women Caution

"This is a great piece of equipment. Very sturdy and fitness club-like. My only complaint is that many of the exercises are not adjustable to different sized people. I am '5.6 and I cannot use the leg extension or hamstring curls because it doesn't fit my frame. It is obviously designed more for the average man. Saying all that, you can still get a great work out from all the other exercises. Lastly, make sure there are two people for the delivery. Very Heavy!"
