power ok, but noisy
Pros: powerful
Cons: noisy, smelly, power cord a little short
"It's powerful enough. Emits a high pitch squeal, especially at the higher speeds, that makes it unpleasant to use. Also a bit smelly - some kind of lubricant inside. I was hoping the smell would go away after a while, but it still stinks quite a bit after 6 months."

Luv it

"I haven't had a hand mixer in a long time, just my big stand mixer. So, when I saw this, I had to try it out. Luv it. Received it last week and promptly made oatmeal cookies to try it out. handled the dough with no problem, and will be trying out some quickbreads next. Also luv the way it looks, and the retractable cord. Easy to store."

Good looking product!
"I bought this mixer to replace a old one that didn't have the gumption to whip egg whites, and it is simply fantastic. Seems to be a sturdy manufacture and the size and shape are perfect. Nice to have three sets of beaters. And most of all, I love the way it looks."

"I bought this for the baker in the family as she was going through off the rack mixers every year.
This mixer is built in England and is solid and powerful. It has the heft and feel of a professional tool. It will not bog down during the heaviest batter, This is the 2nd year and it is flawless."

love this hand mixer
Pros: retractable cord
"This was the first Dualit product I purchased and I was impressed enough to buy the immersion blender that Costco carried because of the quality of the mixer. This is a very powerful hand mixer. The mixer stands on it's rubberized back end when you want to put it down and the retractable cord make this a better than most machine. I have an excellent KitchenAid stand mixer but this is a great option to have when you do not feel like using your counter mixer."
