Excellent until it wasn't
Pros: did a great job of cleaning dust particles
Cons: died too soon
"This product worked great for about a year. It sucked up all the particles you see floating in the air. After about a year it started making a lot of noise so I had to move it out of my bedroom (used to have on while sleeping). Now in my living room I only used it sporadically. Long story short the air purifier slowly but surely died after a year and a half of fairly regular use. Wouldn’t recommend. If it died after 3-5 years that'd be something, but I feel like 1.5 years is rediculous."

Good purchase
Pros: high quality, good air flow, attractive design, effective air cleaner, infrequent filter changes
Cons: costs money, makes sound, requires space
"Great initial quality. Immediate impression is a heavy duty machine built to clean air, while maintaining a rather attractive design.
Some other reviews make unfair remarks regarding the noise level of this machine. First of all, on the low setting it is hardly audible. Secondly, HEPA systems are inherently loud! Trying to move significant quantities of air through tiny pores is not a quiet process. The only ways to decrease noise levels are to 1) get a larger unit with a larger filter surface area, or 2) lower the filtration rate (and hence effectiveness of the machine). I challenge anyone to find a quiet true HEPA filtration system capable of moving high rates of air.
Now the machine makes noise, it takes up space, it has a new smell for 2 days, but I wouldn't do it justice if I gave it less than 5 stars. It is probably as good as a small portable device gets."

Didn't notice any improvement
"With three cats, two dogs, and seasonal allergies, we were looking for a system to clean the air in our bedroom. After reading an excellent review for this unit, we went for it. After a month, we didn't notice any difference in the air quality or dust level. Ended up returning the unit to the store."

"ALREADY BREATH BEST AIR EVER SINCE IN THIS APMT. . DID EXTENSIVE RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING BLUEAIR. EXCELLENT GRIP ON SIDES TO MOVE WITH EASE. LOOKS GREAT. ON LOWEST DON'T KNOW IT'S ON. ON MED. VERY REASONABLE SOUND, LIKE A NR-SILENT FAN. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE SINCE ALSO USES VERY LITTLE ELECTRICITY.
