Nematodes will die if they dry out or freeze. When to Apply: For best results, apply a minimum of twice per year in spring and fall. Lawn Guardian™ beneficial nematodes can be applied anytime from May thru October when grubs or larva are seen in the soil. Apply Lawn Guardian™ natural beneficial nematodes when soil temperatures are 10°C (50°F) of more. Also apply in late August or September to eliminate any new grubs that hatch during summer. I'll know in the Spring if it works

Pros: mixes easily which makes spraying simple.
"Delivery was quick. Product needs to be kept refrigerated, and we were away for the day - left on the doorstep. It was packaged with a small cooler pack so hopefully they were ok. Applied in the evening just before a fairly heavy rain as instructions say it helps."

We'll see how well it works

Pros: much cheaper than lawm maintenance companies, easy to apply
Cons: needs several days of rain or lots of watering, inneffective if neighbours are also infested...
"I used this product a few years back when I had a white grub problem. The problem went away and stop I stopped treating my lawn.
This year, I am infested with Japanese beetles and I read nematodes were pretty effective against those two. The package doesn't explicitly mention those beetles, so I hope it will kill all the grubs.
I don't have 3000 sq.ft. of lawn, so I suggested I spray some nematodes on my neighbours' lawn. But she didn't want me to. We'll see next year where the nematodes are coming from..."

Hoping it works!!

Pros: most cost effective way to treat grubs, easy to use
Cons: easy to over apply
"I purchased this product after looking through every other store for grub control without success and a ridiculous quote from a lawn maintenance company.
It arrived well packaged from a company in Ontario. I had a few questions about it's application and the people at this company were extremely helpful.
It is very easy to over apply this item, as I used a watering can and only treated a small portion of my lawn. The item is meant to cover 3000 sq.ft. OOPS! It is a harmless mistake, though, so I ordered more ;)

It works!

"I applied beneficial nematodes twice - in the end of May and in the middle of June. The result is that I have my roses intact, beautiful and healthy.
No rose midge this year – Thanks God!
